Downloadable correspondence courses are an easy, cost-effective way to obtain continuing education units. Rather than Web-based courses you must take online, each course listed here is a file you print, read at your leisure, and keep for future reference.

The certificate of completion will show the same date as the postmark on your return envelope. We will mail you a signed certificate of completion for each state in which you are licensed.

If you require NCRA credit, simply send NCRA the Certificate of Completion and NCRA registration form we provide, along with a check for $40 per course to NCRA. NCRA has pre-approved our correspondence courses.

We maintain course completion records for five years. During that time period, replacement certificates are available for a fee of $5 each to cover administrative costs.

The New Physiology of Obesity - 5.0 hours/0.5 CEU, IL core area of Physiology
This course introduces the reporter to new discoveries in the physiology of obesity that may be at the core of obesity lawsuits: (1) obesity may be a physiological disease, (2) appetite is governed by complex communications between the hypothalamus in the brain, the gut and the central nervous system, (3) fat is a very active endocrine organ that acts differently in the obese state compared to the lean state and (4) researchers are uncovering the links through which obesity contributes to increased health risks.
